A NEW CENTRE IN PROGRESS

Follow our project to build and develop our new Child Care Centre!

The vision of the Child Care Centre is that the new Centre, in addition to the official office, storage space and dorms, also will contain common spaces that can work for several purposes. One goal is to build a library room that can also be used for evening classes, homework studies, workshops, study circles, computer training and other events. Regarding the outdoor environment, trees will continued to be planted to create shade, creative outdoor environment, protect the soil from erosion and improve the climate. To secure the ground and create conditions for self-sufficiency, the Centre intends to build a wall and also use parts of the land for cultivation. The project is being developed and anchored in the community through regular workshops with village chiefs, school representatives and various stakeholders, and supports the local community by collaborating and hiring local experts and labour during building activities.
